$500,000 jury verdict against a surgeon

$500,000 jury verdict against a surgeon for injury to the common bile duct during a gallbladder removal surgery resulting in a repair surgery and hospitalization.  Catherine Adams vs. Dr. Deborah Jones-Monahan and Sarah Bush Lincoln.  During a laporascopic gallbladder removal surgery, Dr. Jones-Monahan improperly injured Cathy’s common bile duct and transferred her to Barnes-Jewish Hospital where she underwent a repair surgery and hospitalization.  No offer to settle the case was ever made on behalf of Dr. Jones-Monahan.
